Food sticked to the pans from first use and the frypan turned black. They also got real discolored and look horrible after only 8 months. Trust me, we followed the directions to a "T" and they still did not work. Scanpans cost more, but are worth every penny. I don't think we'll ever go back to another non-stick pan again. If you are looking for a legit non-stick pans, try these. Both of us were actually quite excited as this would be our very first nice (expensive) cookware set. When my wife opened the box on christmas we both were impressed with the how the pans looked. The next morning we went to simply boil some water in the 7" sauce pan and I noticed water leaking out of the pan from the rivets that hold the handle to the pan....not a good sign. I then checked the other pans that came in the set and they too leaked.....we were bummed. I talked to the rep in California and he said he had never had that complaint. I don't think he's being honest with me because I have since read some reviews stating the same problem. They offered to warranty the pans but we took a pass and returned the whole set.
