On to the product itself...what a piece of junk-it's thin and very poorly constructed. Mine doesn't whistle at all which was my whole reason for purchasing a new tea kettle. I use a tea kettle every day or every other day and this one is just not good. My main complaint outside of the thinness of it, it that the handle does not fold down; it is stationary, whereas my old broken one had a handle that bent down making the retrieval of teabags before pouring a whole lot easier. I'm going to keep and use it as it was only 20.00, but I will continue to search for a decent, well made tea-kettle in the meantime. It's a very pretty color, though and that's about the best thing this product has going for it. I just wish it was better made and whistled. It'll do in the interim.
